It’s cold here in Kansas City…. you can tell winter is trying to force its way in, and I’m not happy about it! Unless of course it’s going to snow – if it’s going to snow then I’m a little more okay with the cold… {wink}
(Shameless plug – yes, I plan to make a Winter Wonderland Mini Session contact list – be watching here, Facebook, and the E-News for those details next month!)
Back when it was still warm and gorgeous though I had a super fun session, and I’ve been dying to share it with you all! When my friend e-mailed me and asked if I’d be game to do a session at their home, around their pool, I didn’t even hesitate to answer “yes!”.
Everything started out nice and normal…. we even got their dog to pose for a few!

Then….
Well, then things got really fun! We went out on a limb, or rock wall I guess, and finished out the session in a super fun way!

After the whole Jumping-Into-A-Pool-With-Clothes-On thing, the kids changed into swim suits and I continued to capture their pool fun.

Underwater images were taken with my Nikon waterproof point and shoot camera. No, I did not have to get into the water too – instead I laid on the deck of the pool and hung my arms underwater. I’m dedicated, but not that dedicated! Ha!
While this is clearly the wrong time of year to promote a pool session, do keep it in mind for next summer! I’d love to do more of these types of sessions with my Faces You Love families!

These are awesome! I miss warmer weather already. Lol
