A Newborn Mini Session

Anyone that has had a newborn session for their baby knows the session is anything but “mini” in length. Most of my Kansas City mini sessions are 20 minutes long, but for a newborn that’s how long it takes to get them out of the carseat! Ok, not really… but sometimes it feels like it, with the legs and arms flailing all over the place {wink}

While I love my full length newborn experience, with the included hair & makeup artist (for mom, not the babies you silly people!) and the full range of poses I can do, I recognize there are families that would cherish having just a handful of stunning images of their babies and be happy with only that. So this winter I introduced the Tiny Newborn Session from Faces You Love!

The Tiny Newborn Session is basically a mini session, but a newborn sized mini session…. So where a full length newborn session lasts 2 to 2.5 hours from arrival to departure, the Tiny Newborn is only an hour. How is this speedy session possible? The baby stays wrapped the whole time!

Through careful pre-planning on my part, I can flow through 3-4 different wraps and set ups in just under an hour… even with a baby who starts out a little fussy and unsettled like this sweet girl did! What you see here is the entire gallery this family had to choose from. While 5 images are included in the Tiny Newborn booking fee, they can add on more from a special price list. Obviously you might be tempted to do just that….
