For the last three years I’ve volunteered 9-10 times a year, taking free photos for families in the NICU at Saint Luke’s on the Plaza. My lovely friend Rebecca at the March of Dimes helps with the coordinating of it all, and does really amazing things in service of the families there.
Each visit to the NICU I see so many beautiful babies, siblings, parents, caregivers, and moments. There are hard days, but the overwhelming majority are beautiful, and feature some of the tiniest little fighters you will ever see.
I don’t often share images from the NICU here on the blog, but every so often will share favorites on my social media channels. My visit a few weeks ago though, produced so many breath-catching, beautiful moments that I just had to share some with you all. Say a prayer for these tiny fighters and their families, and may their strength and beauty (and little smiles) bring a small smile to your face today!

I love these, thank you for sharing!
It’s so amazing you do this when your babies in the NICU you miss out on so much thank you for making our family feel normal.
